Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm 2.6 oz

After using most of the Loccitane hand creams, I wanted to try something new. I was browsing for a new hand cream to try, and decided on this Aesop hand cream.

Initially I thought it would be a clear balm, but it is actually a light yellow cream. I like that it has natural ingredients and smells like aromatic herbs and flowers, which can be therapeutic at times. However, it is lacking when it comes to its moisturizing ability. No matter the amount or how often I apply it, there is no noticeable difference in the appearance and texture of my hands. My hands do not look hydrated or feel soft.

The packaging reminds me of a paint tube, which is cute. The problem with this type of packaging is that it gets dented easily, especially when I carry it in my purse. I don't think this Aesop hand cream is worth the price of $27 plus shipping. I say skip this one.

Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm 03 Budding Blossom

As I was browsing around the Bloomingdale's beauty counters I stumbled across this gem. If you are a fan of Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Balm, then you will love this.

This balm is a sheer pink color that changes to a unique shade of pink depending on how much is applied and the color chemistry of your lips. It is moisturizing, feels light, and has no fragrance. Not to mention only $17.

Dior's version feels thick and has a strong baby powder fragrance that I can smell on my lips. It is also double the price of Clinique's.

I always wanted a chubby stick balm but haven't found a color that I like until now. There are other baby tint colors such as tangerine, rose, and berry.

I love the packaging and how fun it is to apply. It lasts long like a lip tint and does not leave any noticeable residue on drinking glasses. I give this lip balm an A+.
